Vala's daughter is born and grows rapidly, she is the Oracle of the Priors and believes the non-believers must die so they can't use their evil to destroy the Ori.

Detail: Daniel is separated from the team and Sam hopes he is alive. She doesn't know he is in the middle of the battle but aboard an Ori ship which is targeted by the Earth ships.

Daniel couldn't move, the Prior's staff ensured that...but it didn't mean he couldn't talk.

"Listen to me! The Ori will not ascend you! They're killing you to further their own cause!"

A flash of orange made him wince and the Prior knelt down.

"Oracle"

"Daniel!"

"Vala!"

"Release him!" Vala demanded.

"Daniel Jackson," a girl stepped into his line of sight, "you brought us the knowledge of the Evil in this galaxy. Origin will cleanse the souls of all who have been corrupted." She moved up to him and reached out.

"The Ori are the Evil ones! They'll suck your soul out!" Daniel nearly shouted at her.

"Adria, he's not evil!" Vala pleaded with her daughter.

"A new era of enlightenment will come with his cleansing." Adria said. "The Evil will no longer take the power of those they created to destroy the Ori. With their deaths it will prevent the Evil from becoming too powerful." Adria replied and plunged her hand into Daniel's chest.

To Vala's horror Adria's hand turned to fire and went into his chest.

Daniel screamed in agony.

"Adria, stop!" Vala begged, she tried to get to her daughter but was frozen with a Prior staff.

She couldn't look away as her daughter killed Daniel, she made it her punishment and her core of strength to save her daughter from the Ori.

A thick white light zoomed through the ship knocking Priors and Adria back, freeing Vala and Daniel, the latter fell to the deck gray faced. The light split off into three distinct forms, one coalesced in front of Adria, the other two went to Daniel, who gasped for breath seconds later.

Vala watched the one facing Adria turn and look at the others and Daniel then turned back to the Oracle.

"The day of reckoning has come as I have foreseen." Adria said and attacked the Ancient.

Vala ducked and crawled over to Daniel as consoles exploded around them from the battle inside the ship. She blinked at seeing the face of an older man within the glowing body.

"He will be well, we must join the battle."

Vala nodded blankly.

The other Ancient, a much younger one, smiled at her then touched Daniel's cheek, he smiled and nodded then the pair disappeared into the ceiling.

"Are you alright?" Vala asked helping him up as the ship rocked.

"I will be." His eyes went to the battle between Ancient and Ori that raged before them. "We have to get out of here." He struggled to his feet and drug her toward the exit.

"Adria..." Vala whispered in anguish.

"We can't do anything now...for either of them."

Vala gave one last look then threw his right arm over her shoulder and hurried them to the transporter.

"You do know how to work this, right?" He groaned.

"I saw Adria work it...once." She answered and hit the switch, they vanished and rematerialized on the Odyssey, which was the closest ship to the Ori one. She guided him to the bridge.

"Dr. Jackson!" Someone exclaimed.

Sam,Teal'c and Cam gaped at the pair.

"Direct hit!"

"Adria." Vala choked pulling Daniel closer.

They all watch the Ori ship explode.

Teal'c and Mitchell grabbed Daniel who started to go down. Sam took Vala's arm and followed to the Sickbay. The two were sedated and examined while the rest of SG-1 returned to the bridge.

Daniel woke slowly to the sound of sniffling, he sat up and looked around the Infirmary. Vala was on the next bed over, he removed the oxygen canula and slid out of bed, mindful of the I.V. in his hand. He took the two steps to her bed and sat on the edge placing a hand on her arm.

"I'm sorry about Adria."

"I loved her Daniel."

"I know." He empathized.

"I have to believe there was some good in her..."

"I'm sure there was, because she was your daughter."

"If only I had had more time..."

"They're out there somewhere."

"The ship exploded!" She turned red-rimmed eyes to him.

"They weren't flesh and blood Vala. Maybe...maybe he'll be able to show her the truth."

"I tried Daniel." She whispered and turned away.

"Get some sleep, I'm right here." He said rising and returning to his bed.

With a soft sigh Daniel stared at the ceiling, the events replaying in his mind.

His lungs were being seared, he couldn't breath. His blood started to boil. He was going to die...his eyes fell on Vala and saw the regret in her face. No Oma this time. God, I'm sorry Jack, Sam and Teal'c. I won't get out of this one.

His eyes started to close when he caught the white light, he felt his body fall to the deck. Too late guys.

Two faces coalesced in front of him and he felt a tingle in his chest where their tentacles reaching inside to heal him.

Goodfather, he gasped as his lungs were healed.

Do not fear goodson, Kasuf smiled.

Adria...

It will be seen to Danyel.

Skaara, he smiled at his brother-in-law, Daniel's eyes went to the third glowing form.

I must use the evil in my subconscious to save us all.

Shifu.

Daniel watched his older step-son turn back to the Oracle and the battle began.

Vala appeared and the Abydonians smiled.

He will be well, we must join the battle, Kasuf said.

Daniel smiled in understanding as Skaara touched his face.

As he was needed in the battle for Earth they were part of the Ancients' battle against the Ori.

He vaguely remembered making it to the Prometheus and being taken to Sickbay before unconsciousness claimed him.

He turned on his side away from Vala as tears slid down his cheeks for the son of his wife that he loved as his own.

I understand your pain Vala...I understand all too well. Be safe Shifu.
