He straightened his tie before heading into the dining room where he found the table set with good china and candles.

"Is this the way you wanted it?" Molly asked smiling at him.

"Yes, thank you."

What a night this is going to be, she thought going back into the kitchen to check on dinner.

He headed over to the CD player and loaded one of her favorites into it hitting play.

There, music is ready, table is set, Molly has the food prepared. . . I hope she likes it, he thought nervously as he checked the time and poured their drinks from the chilled bottle.

He heard footsteps and turned to see her in the doorway wearing his favorite blue dress.

"Hi." He smiled.

"This is nice." She smiled back looking at the table.

"You look nice." He complimented.

"Thanks, I like your tie."

"Thanks. Happy Valentine's Day." He answered handing her a glass.

They toasted and sipped their drinks.

Someone let out a quiet sigh watching them from the hall.

"He wanted to make this really special." A voice whispered from behind.

"Yeah." Another sigh.

"You okay?"

"My baby's growing up!"

Daniel chuckled as he hugged Alex.

"You know, I think I have a bottle of wine, instead of grape juice, up at my place. . . I also have some salmon I could cook up. . . what do you say to our own Valentine's Day dinner, Ms. Stone?"

"Throw in some candles and you've got yourself a deal, Reverend Cooper." She smiled.

He held out his arm and she took it, leaving Dylan to enjoy his romantic dinner with Rebecca while they enjoyed one of their own.

The End

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!
